Kapa Kuiki also known as Hawaiian Quilt Patterns has been a beloved art for decades. Growing up in a local home, it was typical to have some kinda of quilt pattern in the furniture. Whether it was on the bed, a pillow or even beautifully framed and hung on a wall for all to enjoy. Kapa Kuiki has since had many styles and designs created but the most noted would be the 'Ulu (breadfruit).
For many, it is believed to be the first quilt print you should make as it will bring a fruitful life of spiritual prosperity and wisdom. For me, the 'ulu tree is part of my childhood - growing up visiting family who had a large tree just outside their yard and it became our playground. While that tree no longer sits there today, thinking of it brings back the sweetest memories of simpler times.
The 'Ulu ornament will be available in various ways. Single Colored Acrylic (3 pks), Neutral tones Mixed Pack (5 pcs) or Wooden 5pks. They measure 3.5" wide and come with a white satin ribbon
