Blame it on my roots because I am who I was raised to be, who I decided to become and who I choose to be because of my upbringing or my choice to learn my culture on my own.
The kalo has so much significance in Hawaiian culture. From it being a staple food, to it's medicinal uses, to the believe the the kalo represents it being the elder brother whom takes care and nourishes us so we in turn must take care of it.
